Trying Hard

It is very hard to handle a friend who means well, but, in his excitement, must try to make me conform to his ideas of how to live my life. I appreciate the sentiment on his part, but I am fixed in my ways, and have my own plans on how to succeed. The phrases “You must” or “You have to” are sure-fire ways of getting me to not listen. It is also very hard when that person is communicating at top volume and speaking as fast as possible. Makes for a very unproductive phone call.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Jeremy and I are making great strides on getting a new part of the project working. It is a much slower process than I had anticipated! I keep getting stuck on all the details of “where” and “when”. Focus, focus, focus!

The weather today is just glorious! The azaleas are blooming early. Spring at its finest…
