I always liked the word land-scape. Today Alex Vega and his crew are here cleaning up the front yard. He will also cover the septic tank cover area with fresh sod, since it is just dirt now and looks like a scar. Hopefully James will be here today and we can re-install one of the […]

Ordered new pants online. Got the two Sansabelt black dress pants. The four Harbor Bay casuals were backordered. Oh well. Picked up some new shirts this morning too! Came home to Fedex delivering a package, which turned out to be a ring finger sizing kit. Since I have lost weight, my fingers have shrunk and […]

The weather was tolerable enough this morning that I finished power washing the deck. Done by 10am, too. I am very pleased with the way it is shaping up. James will be here Monday. That will be a good time for him to apply the sealant. Expecting Jeremy to visit today. Eager to have Naomi […]

It is very amusing to me how poorly I feel when I do not have enough work to do. Today I have a vast amount of work to do on many fronts and I am psyched about that. Have much YouCake and Dora and KB&R stuff to accomplish. Naomi is going to WFH today, which […]

What a busy day. Rolled out of bed and started working on YouCake. Was at KB&R by 10am. Did the monthly Clinton Group maintenance, met with Matt at KB&R to review user interface design, and added a second display to an iMac there. Got home and worked on the YouCake code. Resolved some issues there. […]

Could not think of a good title for this morning’s post. Heading to Dora Rings for a meeting. I wish they would not waste half my day with this nonsense. Hopefully they will give me enough project work to justify the time spent – one hour each way plus 2-3 hours of meeting time. Yuk. […]

Going to be a busy day and a busy week. Oh, and temperatures will be in the upper 80’s/lower 90’s all week. Today James is coming at 9am to continue working on the basement repairs. The septic guy is coming to quote me on lowering the tank lid. Working on the YouCake project with Jeremy. […]

Brunch was very tasty, I do love caviar and eggs. The food was good as ever, the ambiance was a bit hellish. Have upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6.4 – seems stable, no issues. Upgraded the new MacBook Pro also and found that I never loaded XCode or MacPorts, doing that now.

Got the Newtown Amish coupons and home page updates done and billed out. Been doing laundry. Got the basement stairs cleaned and repaired yesterday, so it is easier for me to handle the basement. Naomi home from food shopping. Fed and groomed the “girls”. Payed all the bills (on time). We are about to get […]
