AT&T Impressed Me Today

The personal hotspot on my new iPhone did not come up properly, so I called in. I expected a really long wait, but it was only 8 minutes.

I got a very nice rep by the name of Nanette Taylor on the phone. She was very impressive. First she walked me thru the settings and was willing to stay on the phone to make sure my iPad was able to connect via WiFi to the iPhone.

Not only is the personal hotspot working now, but she adjusted our plan so that we would save $50 per month!! She actually CALLED ME BACK to help us make the plan savings changes.

I do not know what other people are experiencing with Apple and AT&T this weekend, but I must say that my experiences have been pretty darn good! There was some initial screw-up with Naomi’s phone not getting ordered properly, but both of our phones arrived right on schedule together around noon yesterday. They both work great, we had no activation or upgrade issues. All our data and apps synced fine.

And AT&T customer service has gotten much, much better. Kudos to AT&T (and Apple) today.
